As a foreigner using English as the second language, it is not an easy task for me to find and choose right words and better-organized expressions. One of the statements that will always stay with me is the leading remark: "the writing is good, but this is not well written".
The nitty-gritty aspects of his editing were a tour de force, yet James did not get lost in the details of each word, sentence, or paragraph.
